Afternoon painting with First Grade

This afternoon we painted on a long piece of paper with first grade. We painted letters and words together and had a great time.

Esta tarde hemos pintado en un largo trozo de papel con el primer grado. Pintamos las letras y palabras juntas y lo pasamos muy bien.

Book Buddies

Last Friday we joined our book buddies outside in the courtyard to read books. It was fun to see the pre-k kids teach the 4th grade buddies the actions to the book "Head to Toe" by Eric Carle

El viernes pasado nos reunimos con nuestros compañeros de libros en el patio para leer libros. Fue divertido ver a los niños de pre-k enseñar a los compañeros de 4 º grado de las acciones que el libro "Head to Toe" por Eric Carle

Textured work of art Conclusion

A few weeks ago I told you about the textured works of art the afternoon children working on in Mr. Pecinna's classroom. I wanted to show families the finished product. The children are very proud of their work.

Outside our classroom

Just wanted to give families a look at the outside of our classroom. We still have the goals and learning experience grid on the walls as well as the children's interpretation of 10 Black Dots by Donald Crews. I will update the blog as the walls outside of our classroom change. We are currently working on an art board with the children's work from fine arts.

Sólo quería dar a las familias un vistazo a la parte exterior de nuestra clase. Todavía tenemos los objetivos de la red y el aprendizaje de experiencias sobre las paredes, así como la interpretación de los niños de 10 puntos Negro por Donald Crews. Voy a actualizar el blog como las paredes exteriores de nuestro cambio aula. Actualmente estamos trabajando en un tablero de arte con el trabajo de los niños de las bellas artes.

Back to the farm

We went back to the farm this week and had a great time. We got to plant vegetables and taste the different types of fruits and vegetables that are grown on the farm,

Regresamos a la granja de esta semana y lo pasamos muy bien. Tenemos que plantar hortalizas y degustar los diferentes tipos de frutas y verduras que se cultivan en la finca.

Tumbling Fun

Today in physical education the children were learning to tumble. First the children were to front roll down a mat then they log rolled down the long line of mats. The children really enjoyed this activity.

Hoy en educación física los niños estaban aprendiendo a caer. En primer lugar los niños fueron a rodar frontal hacia abajo, un registro de matemáticas entonces rodó por la línea de alfombras de largo. Los niños realmente disfrutaron esta actividad.

"The Wild Rumpus"

To end our work on the book "Where the Wild Things Are" we had a Wild Rumpus in our classroom. The children made masks and used instruments to express their "Wild Selfs".

Para finalizar nuestro trabajo en el libro "Donde viven los monstruos" que había mucho jaleo en nuestra aula. Los niños hicieron máscaras y los instrumentos utilizados para expresar su "Wild sí mismo".
